Indications of SBL Cineraria Maritima Euphrasia Eye Drops (10ml):
Conjunctivitis and other inflammatory conditions of eye. Spring catarrh. Irritation due to foreign bodies, vehicle smoke and environmental pollution. Eye strain due to computer/TV watching, Corneal opacities, tendency of obscuration of crystalline lens.
Composition:
Cineraria Maritima – 1.50 %w/w:Â It helps to strengthen resistance and clear away infections. Used in removing clouding of lens and also in the treatment of conjunctivitis.
Euphrasia Officinalis – 1.00 %w/w:Â Acrid lachrymation; bland coryza, Discharge thick and excoriating, Burning and swelling of the lids. Frequent inclination to blink.
Calendula Officinalis – 0.25 %w/w:Â Injuries to eyes which tend to suppuration; after operations
Kali Muriaticum – 10x 0.25 %w/w:Â White mucus, purulent scabs. Superficial ulcer. Corneal opacities.
Calcarea Fluorica – 10x 0.25 %w/w:Â Flickering and sparks before the eyes, spots on the cornea; conjunctivitis
Magnesia Carbonica – 10x 0.25 %w/w:Â Constant pain in eyes with watering.
Silicea – 10x 0.25 %w/w:Â Aversion to light, especially daylight; it produces dazzling, sharp pain through eyes; eyes tender to touch; worse when closed. Vision confused; letters run together on reading. Styes.
Boric Acid I.P. – 1.00 %w/w:Â Used as an antiseptic disinfectant, since it arrests fermentation and putrefaction.
Sodium Methyl Hydroxybenzoate B.P. – 0.10 %w/w
Isotonic Solution of Sodium Chloride q.s. to 100gm Content 10ml.
Dosage:
Instill 1 or 2 drops into the eye, 3-6 times daily.
